This page contains our current downloads.  We have included individual apps and manuals if you are interested in a particular product rather than the whole suite.

We may put some of the large ones on other sites if they are popular to speed up download performance.

Demonstration kit

This kit contains all you need to demonstrate our products, complete with textures, landscapes and a castle.  It comes as a zipped file that you can unzip anywhere on your PC (see system requirements).

The kit contains the following folders:

• Apps - all the Compose3D applications, manuals and libraries.
• Edifice - the edifice files for the building.
• Media - the Texture Library and associated textures including landscape height maps and splats.
  • Actors - the demo Rancor actor from Delaney.
• WalkAbout - the WalkAbout files to show the demo.

What to do?

• Download the kit and unzip it to a place of your choice.
• From the apps folder run WalkAbout.exe
• Browse to the DemoWalkabout.xml file and open it.
• Use the mouse or keys to wander the landscape and building, use F1 for help
• Texture Manager, World and Edifice can all be run from the apps folder.  Use the file Media\Demo.TexLib as the texture library.  Modify the existing textures, landscapes and buildings to get to know the applications.
• Create your own textures, landscapes and buildings, export them to WalkAbout and have fun.

  

System Requirements

We try and keep our software simple and using standards wherever possible.  Most computers and graphics cards will be supported.  To run our software you need:

• Microsoft Windows 7 (or Windows Vista or Windows XP but we do not test on these)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
• TrueVision3D SDK 3.5
• DirectX (required by TrueVision3D).  This is normally installed by default on all recent Microsoft operating systems since Windows XP.

We provide download links from our own server but also from our Rapidshare account if you want a faster download.  This is useful if you are downloading the full demonstration kit at about 47MB.
